Our fertile collaboration with Estelle Yoméda and *Kente project continues by updating the Titi tote bag using a technique from Togolese craftsmen.
TITI TIE, handwoven in a twisted nylon yarn used by local fishermen, is made by a craftsman who inherited their traditional knotting technique and offers his colorful interpretation.
*Kente project contributes to the economic development of very small structures and independent craftsmen and also the preservation of traditional Togolese skills.

Titi Tie is made of twisted, hand-knotted nylon yarns and accessorized with a signed metal clasp to maintain its shape. Though unlined, it has a reclosable inner pouch made in 100% cotton.
Done in collaboration with Kente Project, it is manufactured and developed by Togolese craftsmen.
Woven in a handmade traditional knotting technique that uses a twisted, water-resistant nylon fishing yarn, the material, also resistant to ultra-violet rays and abrasion, is extremely sturdy and doesn’t stretch.
