Joh, nomadic and contemporary.
After years of dictates about mini, even micro bags, here’s Joh, our assertive, oversized bag with an unmatched elegance.
While visiting a military surplus boutique, I found a waterproof bag in an extremely lightweight fabric that could be rolled up to adapt to the shape of its contents and also protect it.
After playing around with it, I had the idea of making a supple, modular leather bag that could be worn nonchalantly, this is how our new oversized Joh was born.
This unisex, unusual, large bag in supple leather falls easily from the strap that surrounds it. It gives the impression of being able to hold everything one owns or we can put just a few things inside to make it more beautiful and modular.
Its long, elegantly saddle-stitched strap has notches for our signature metal clasp so it can be adjusted and worn in different ways.
Since it is so supple and depending on its contents, Joh can be rolled up and worn discreetly on the shoulder, worn bandoleer style with a long strap or worn as a belt with a leather apron.
The Joh bag’s drape is due to its lightweight, malleable leathers: wrinkled, silky lamb, smooth nubuck calf, luminous satiny calf or a multicolored Vasarely-effect leather weave.
Finally what we adore about Joh is its cool, sophisticated, elegant, surprising and provocative silhouette that highlights the beauty of its leather thanks to its drape. Its minimal conception and contemporary modularity give this elusive nomad a unique beauty.
So good-bye mini bags and hello to Joh with its assertive maxi volume.
