INTRODUCTION

The offer and sale of products on or website (“stephaniecesaire.com”) are governed by the following General Terms and Conditions. OUR BUSINESS POLICY

CÉSAIRE offers products for sale and its e-commerce business services are available exclusively to its end users (“Consumers”).

The main characteristics of products are shown on stephaniecesaire.com inside of each product card. The products offered for sale on stephaniecesaire.com may not exactly conform to the real articles in terms of image and colours due to the Internet browser or monitor used.

“Consumer” means any individual who is acting for purposes which are outside his or her business or profession. If you are not a Consumer, please do not buy any products on stephaniecesaire.com.

CÉSAIRE reserves the right not to process orders received from users who are not “consumers” and any other order which does not comply with CÉSAIRE’s business policy.

SHIPPING

For order of articles in stock

Our bags in stock will be delivered for free through Poste Colissimo service in three to eight days after actual receipt of the payment. Our bags will be made to order and delivered under 10 weeks. For other details please refer to terms and conditions of sales.

For made to order articles

Your bag will be realised especially for you, from four 4 to five 5 weeks are needed to purchase the leather, four weeks to fulfill the order at the workshop, and one week to dispatch it, that is a delay of ten 10 weeks. According to the availability of leathers and occupation of our workshops the delays can be shortened and you will be informed about it. If the delay is to be extended, you will be informed in next fifteen days following the validation of the order, if the additional delay doesn’t suit you, you can cancel the order and get entirely reimbursed.

Shipping & Customs

Maison Césaire ships to most countries in the world *. Our proposed transport costs are in express condition on international and in single parcel on France insurances included. If you live outside the EEC, your purchase is offered without tax but it may be subject to customs fees upon entry into the country of destination, they are variable depending on the country and depending on the period, ask from your local customs.

PAYMENTS

In case of payment by credit/debit card, all details (for example, card number or expiration date) will be sent by encrypted protocol by CÉSAIRE to the bank which provides remote electronic payment services, without third parties having any access thereto whatsoever. Such details will not be used by CÉSAIRE except for performing the procedure relevant to your purchase or issuing refunds in the case of returns, in compliance with the exercise of your return right or for reporting cases of fraud on stephaniecesaire.com to the police.

The price for the purchase of products, as indicated in the order form, will be charged to your current account when the order is validated by CÉSAIRE.

HOW TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH CÉSAIRE

To place an order for the purchase of one or more products on stephaniecesaire.com, you must complete the order form and send it electronically to CÉSAIRE, following the instructions.

The order form contains a link to the “General Terms and Conditions of Sale”, information on the main characteristics of each product ordered and the relevant unit price, shipping and delivery terms for the purchased products.

Before buying products by submitting your order form, you will be asked to attentively read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and validate them.

The transmission of orders to CÉSAIRE must be done in French or English.

If the goods shown on stephaniecesaire.com are out of stock, CÉSAIRE will propose the product made to order, if you refuse this option CÉSAIRE will cancel your order, no charges will be debited.

By submitting an order form, you unconditionally accept to observe the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in your contract with CÉSAIRE. Should you not agree with certain provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, please do not submit your order form for the purchase of products on stephaniecesaire.com.

CONSUMER RIGHTS/COOLING OFF PERIOD

You may cancel your contract with CÉSAIRE, without any penalty and without specifying the reason, within seven (7) working days, beginning with the day after you received the products bought on www.stephaniecesaire.com. However it is not possible to exchange the article your bought for another one.

In this case you should return the products to CÉSAIRE within seven (7) working days beginning with the day after you received the products.

By using the transporter of your choice please return the products to CÉSAIRE to following address: 6, rue Saint Florentin, 75001, Paris, FRANCE. The return of products will be under your own responsibility and at your expenses,including in case of loss or damage, customs return of the items.

Besides the respect for delays and for procedures described in articles, the return of products, in case the customer exercises his or her right of renunciation, is considered as performed correctly if following conditions are completely respected:

  • • the return form is correctly completed and sent to CÉSAIRE;
    • The product was not made to order
    • The product is not a product that has been sold or promoted
    • the product must not have been used, modified, or damaged;
    • the products must be returned whole and not used in their original packagin
  • the products should be returned to CÉSAIRE within seven (7) working days following the day you have received them by using the transporter of your choice.

If you cancel the contract respecting the procedures, mentioned above, CÉSAIRE will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event within thirty (30) days of the day of receipt of the product and linked to the perfect condition of the product..

GUARANTEES & AFTER-SALES SERVICE

On stephaniecesaire.com, we offer for sale top-quality CÉSAIRE products, CÉSAIRE being a luxury and first quality brand.

CÉSAIRE does not sell second-hand products, flawed products or products of lower quality than the corresponding market standards.

Our products are covered by the legal guarantee with respect to the consequences of conspicuous or hidden defects, as defined by the European Directive 1985/374 EEC.

The guarantee shall remain in effect for one year, starting on the date of sale.

The guarantee is limited to the item’s value and shall only be valid if the item is put to its intended use, under normal usage conditions. The guarantee does not cover damages caused by normal use, bad maintenance, abusive use, wear and tear caused by friction, exposure to extreme temperatures, inks, acids, solvents and chemical products. It also does not cover damages caused by third parties, as, for example, during shipping.

To make use of your guarantee, you should imperatively contact CÉSAIRE by e-mail: mail to get a prior authorization. CÉSAIRE will process your request in under 72h, and will provide a response by mail under this time delay. No product under the guarantee will be accepted without prior authorization given by mail by CÉSAIRE.

If the product cannot be repaired, it will be replaced. Any exchanges of sold merchandise shall only be assured on the basis of our resources or those of the manufacturers. Variations in color (leather, cloth, etc.) may occur. The exchange shall be made within a period of twelve weeks, starting on the defective merchandise’s reception date. If the product cannot be replaced or repaired, a payment will be made in the amount of the merchandise’s value on the date of sale.

The customer shall return the defective merchandise, at his or her expense, accompanied by a dated proof of sale. Transport expenses will be reimbursed by CÉSAIRE (by bank transfer under a thirty (30) day delay) up to fifty euros ATI (€50) with a presentation of the transport invoice. The return costs will be paid by CÉSAIRE.

If the guarantee is no longer applicable CÉSAIRE assures after-sales service of products bought on stephaniecesaire.com at your expense. It is necessary to address us a mail describing the problem to mail We will sent you an estimate and perform all the reparations only upon the reception of your agreement. All the expenses, such as transport and reparations, will be charged to the customer.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with the laws of France and in the event of any dispute or claim associated with these terms and conditions, that dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
