A return to the essential

Bags evolve fluidly and delicately in Stéphanie Césaire’s imagination. She wants them to be simple, essential, useful and original since for her, freedom is what gives each of her designs its cachet.

Le Panier is an essential companion whose generous opening is an invitation to fill it with your possessions. Just one box pleat detail held in place by a martingale structures this sober, fluid volume in a round leather with a powdery hand, so inviting to hold next to the body.

The small, supple Muette saddle bag in a half-moon shape plays up contrast materials and colors in unexpected harmonies. Its wide, square flap is closed by thin leather straps crossed in front like an apron.

Louise surprises us with its supple pear shape whose curved, savory lines are subtly defined in a minimal, seamed leather.

Thanks to the assertive eclecticism of her inspirations, Stéphanic Césaire redesigns our favorite shapes by remixing codes while preserving each bag’s original function so each one is never superficial.
